History has taught us time and time again that when the will is big enough the facts do not count.

History has taught us time and time again that when the will is big enough the facts do not count. Politicians, beauracrats, theorists and academics love to talk about the facts. But history has proven again and again that the facts are only one consideration. They are not the be all and end all. It is scientifically impossible for bumble bees to fly. History is filled with examples time and time again where people have triumphed over certain defeat because they believed they could. There is something about the indominatability of the human spirit. The desire to win cannot be measured. We should have saved Colin the baby humpback whale but we didn't even really try. There was no unified will to save that baby whale. Where there is no vision the people perish.
